How to Sell a Tender Fund

Selling a tender fund is a unique process because redemptions are initiated by the fund itself, typically on a quarterly basis. To ensure your request is processed correctly, follow these steps:

  • Receive the Repurchase Offer
Tender funds will send a repurchase offer to all current investors at regular intervals, outlining the terms of the offer and the deadline for submitting a redemption request. You can also find an estimated redemption date on the fund's detail page within our website.
  • Prepare and Submit Your Request to Treeview
To begin, please complete the fund's repurchase offer document, but leave it unsigned. Once completed, scan and email the document to us at Redemption@Treeview.Capital with sufficient time before the submission deadline.
  • Treeview Capital & Schwab Processing
Within one business day of receiving your request, we will send you the repurchase offer in a DocuSign envelope for your authentication and final signature. Once you complete this, the document is immediately sent to Schwab for processing. Schwab will then review and forward it to the fund manager.
  • Understand the Payment Timeline
The proceeds from your sale will be deposited into your account between 7 and 30 days after the repurchase deadline. The specific schedule for your fund will be detailed within the repurchase offer you receive.
