How to Buy a Tender Fund
Purchasing a tender fund at Charles Schwab is a straightforward process. Follow these step-by-step instructions to make your investment:
- Link Your Schwab Account
Your first step is to link your Charles Schwab brokerage account to Treeview Capital. This enables you to access and purchase the tender funds available on our platform. - Research Funds
Explore potential tender funds on our Fund List or Recommendations pages. Review the Fund Detail page on our site for high-level information. For in-depth research, follow the provided link to the fund's official website. - Start Your Investment Request
Once you have chosen a fund, navigate to its Fund Detail page and click the "Start your investment request" link at the bottom of the page. - Complete the Request Form
A new page will open with the fund name pre-filled. Simply select your linked Schwab account, enter the amount you wish to invest, and then click "Request Investment Documents". - Sign the Documents
Within one business day, you will receive an email from Schwab containing a DocuSign envelope. This envelope will contain the necessary subscription document and the order form for your investment. - Finalize Your Purchase & Fund Your Account
After you have completed the DocuSign envelope, Schwab will process your order. Be sure to have the full investment amount available as cash in your account. For your investment to be eligible for purchase on the first day of the following month, all documents must be completed and accepted by Schwab by the 20th of the current month. Schwab will typically withdraw the funds within one business day after the order is accepted. - Track Your Investment
The fund manager generally calculates the Net Asset Value (NAV) around the third week of each month. Your purchase will appear in your Schwab account holdings approximately three weeks after your order is submitted. Following this, the investment value will be updated once a month.
