At Treeview Capital, we believe that elite private market investing requires a foundation of absolute security. That is why we have built our platform in collaboration with Charles Schwab, one of the world's most trusted financial institutions.
While our team identifies institutional opportunities and provides the digital infrastructure to access them, your assets remain housed within the safety of a Schwab brokerage account. This partnership ensures you receive specialized investment access with the peace of mind that comes from a multi-trillion dollar custodian.
Treeview Capital never takes possession of your funds. By using Charles Schwab as our independent custodian, we ensure a strict separation between your investment advice and the physical safeguarding of your assets. This institutional structure provides a vital layer of protection and oversight.
Client accounts held at Charles Schwab are protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) up to standard statutory limits of $500,000 (including a $250,000 limit for cash). In addition, Schwab maintains 'Excess SIPC' coverage through Lloyd's of London, subject to an aggregate firm-wide limit of $600 million. This structural protection applies strictly to the custody and safekeeping of assets in the event of a broker-dealer failure, and does not insure against market-driven investment losses.
You maintain absolute control over your capital. Treeview Capital provides the digital infrastructure and institutional fund access, but we do not exercise any trading authority. You choose each investment based on your own financial objectives and execute all activity directly. Your assets remain in your name within your Schwab account, providing a transparent and self-directed investing experience.
Our partnership with Schwab is a key reason we can maintain our low 0.30% annual advisory fee. By leveraging Schwab's massive scale and digital infrastructure, we eliminate the heavy overhead costs of traditional firms. We pass those savings directly to you, allowing more of your capital to stay invested in the private markets.
